Statutory Assessment
Reception Baseline Assessment
All pupils in Reception will undertake the Reception Baseline Assessment within 6 weeks of starting school.
Key Stage 2 SATs
The 2024 Key Stage 2 SATs will take place in the week commencing 12th May 2025. The tests will take place over four days. Our Year 6 children will take tests in Maths, Reading and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS) under formal exam conditions. Pupils should arrive by 8.15 am in order to have breakfast together before their tests.
SATs papers are marked externally whilst separate teacher assessments in Writing and Science are submitted by school. There will be a parent meeting for parents of children in year 6.

Phonics Screening Check
All pupils in year 1 and those in year 2 who did not pass last year will sit the Phonics Screening Check between the 9th and 13th June 2025.
Multiplication Tables Check
All pupils in year 4 will sit the Multiplication Tables Check between Monday 2nd and Friday 13th June 2025.
Early Years Foundation Stage Profile
At the end of the Reception year staff will complete the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile for all children moving on to KS1.

Reporting Arrangements
Outcomes of all statutory assessments will be reported back to parents in the annual school report in July.
It is very important that children do not take holidays or have absences during these assessment windows.
