End of Year and Start of New School Year Information

As we draw closer to the end of this academic year we wanted to share with you some information for over summer and the start of next academic year:

• School closes at 3.15pm this Friday 17^th July 2026


• Y6 leavers cannons will be at 3.15pm on the KS2 playground (if you have smaller children to collect first we recommend you collect them first and then come to KS2 playground (we will release from 3.05pm on the other gates)


• There is no staffed reception or phones over summer


• If you need to contact school urgently over summer please email [email protected] – this email address is monitored over summer but we will only respond to urgent safeguarding email all other emails will be responded to in September to allow our staff to have a well deserved break.


• School re-opens to staff on Tuesday 1^st September for training – the phonelines and reception will be staffed from 1pm to 3pm on this day


• School re-opens to pupils on Wednesday 2^nd September at 8.45am (please note there is no breakfast club for the first three days of school)


• Please note: New to nursery and reception children have been contacted by Mrs Watson with specific information regarding their staggered start.


• Breakfast Club re-commences on Monday 7^th September 2026


• If you have a safeguarding emergency over summer you can contact the Local Authority Designated Officer on 01302 366666


• Please remember to check for any lost property before we break up this Friday as everything left will go to charity over the summer.

Home-School Agreement

Parents are asked to complete our Home School Agreement when their child starts school. Any changes which parents wish to make to their child's details can be either done on the Arbor app or by emailing [email protected] To view our Home School Agreement please click on the downloadable file at the bottom of the page.

End of Day Arrangement

All children in Nursery to Year 4 must be collected by a named adult aged 18 or over. Children in Years 5 and 6 may walk home alone with parental consent submitted through the Arbor app, although we strongly encourage all children to be collected at the end of the school day.
