End of Year and Start of New School Year Information

As we draw closer to the end of this academic year we wanted to share with you some information for over summer and the start of next academic year:

• School closes at 3.15pm this Friday 17^th July 2026


• Y6 leavers cannons will be at 3.15pm on the KS2 playground (if you have smaller children to collect first we recommend you collect them first and then come to KS2 playground (we will release from 3.05pm on the other gates)


• There is no staffed reception or phones over summer


• If you need to contact school urgently over summer please email [email protected] – this email address is monitored over summer but we will only respond to urgent safeguarding email all other emails will be responded to in September to allow our staff to have a well deserved break.


• School re-opens to staff on Tuesday 1^st September for training – the phonelines and reception will be staffed from 1pm to 3pm on this day


• School re-opens to pupils on Wednesday 2^nd September at 8.45am (please note there is no breakfast club for the first three days of school)


• Please note: New to nursery and reception children have been contacted by Mrs Watson with specific information regarding their staggered start.


• Breakfast Club re-commences on Monday 7^th September 2026


• If you have a safeguarding emergency over summer you can contact the Local Authority Designated Officer on 01302 366666


• Please remember to check for any lost property before we break up this Friday as everything left will go to charity over the summer.

Breakfast and After School Clubs

Breakfast Club

We fun a free daily breakfast club in school thanks to funding by 'Greggs Breakfast Clubs' which is open to all children from Nursery to Year 6 and opens at 8am. 

We serve cereal, toast and juice – please contact the school office if you require any information regarding ingredients or have any concerns over allergies etc.

Entry to Breakfast Club is via the Y3/4 doors off the KS2 playground where your child will sign in with a member of our staff. Children must arrive at these gates between 8:00am and 8:05am.

Our Breakfast Club is co-ordinated by the admin team. To book a place please email [email protected] and we will get back to you.

 

After School Clubs

After School Clubs run during term time only and are £2.50 per session - booked and paid for on the Arbor app.

Autumn term clubs run from September to December

Spring term clubs run from January to March

Summer term clubs run from April to July Please note once a place is booked these are NON REFUNDABLE. For more information about the clubs on offer, please see the attached brochure.

 

Wraparound care until 6pm.
