Y6 Leavers Assembly

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely summer break. We wish Year 6 the very best of luck for next year at their new secondary schools and we look forward to seeing all the other children again in September.
Don’t forget Years 1 to 6 are back to school on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 gates open at 8.40am with the day commencing at 8.45am. Please remember, Breakfast Club and After School Clubs do not commence until 11th September 2023.
Children in Nursery and Reception have been sent information about their transition dates and staggered starts.
Children need to be back in full school uniform from September as follows:
· Navy blue jumper/tank-top/cardigan
· White shirt/blouse/polo shirt
· Grey or Black trousers/skirt/pinafore dress
· Plain white, black or grey socks/tights
· Black smart shoes (no trainers)
· Smart waterproof coat
With regards to jewellery children may wear one pair of plain stud earrings to school – not hoops or dangly earring – however all earrings must be removed for PE lessons by the child, staff may not remove earrings. Children may also wear a watch. NO OTHER JEWELLERY IS PERMITTED.
For PE all children from Y1 to Y6 need the following PE kit for September:
· White or light blue t-shirt
· Navy blue shorts
· Black trainers/pumps
· Navy/black tracksuit for outdoor PE
All uniform can be bought from the local supermarket, the pre-loved shop in main reception or if you wish to purchase logo items these can be purchased from Cliffs uniform shop in the city centre.
