School Opening September 2nd 2020

School will be closed over summer. We close on Friday 17th July 2020 at 3pm and re-open to pupils on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 at 8.45am.

Currently we are advised that school will be opening back to all year groups and it will be compulsory for all years to be in school. Times of the school day will be confirmed towards the end of the holidays as we may be required to stagger start and finishing times.

We will still have the packed lunch system in place for all pupils throughout September but pupils will be able to bring their own packed lunch and water bottle in should they wish.

There may well be additional Government guidance over the summer and if there are any changes we will email these out to you and place information on the school website so it’s important that you keep an eye out for any updates. The government have published guidance for parents, which includes support and helplines which are available for you should you need them.

School will not be making any pupil phone calls over the 6 weeks break. However, The Local Authority will continue to make welfare checks to some of our pupils.

The Free School Meal vouchers for the summer will be sent to those who it applies to on Friday 10th July so please ensure you redeem these asap as they will expire within a month.

Initially, in September there will be no Breakfast Club and no After Schools Clubs.

Some parents have asked if its possible to fetch in leavers gifts for staff. If you wish to do this then we can only accept gifts into school on the very last day - Friday 17th July 2020 but please do not worry if you are unable just seeing your child thriving and happy in school is all we ask.
