Please read carefully to find out some key some changes happening after half-term.
Don’t forget we break up this Friday (23rd Oct) for half-term. Children are back in school on Tuesday 3rd November 2020 due to a training day on Monday.
Hot school meals will re-commence after half term as per the email sent home to all parents on 15th September 2020. School meals (Y3-Y6) remain at £2.30 per day and are payable the week in advance via ParentPay. If you have any queries regarding ParentPay please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Gunn in the main office on 01302 853289 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: Pupils in Reception and KS1 are entitled to a free school meal so parents do not need to pay until a child reaches Year 3.
Start and finish times will change by 5 minutes for all year groups as follows:
EYFS 8.45am 2:50pm
Y1 8.55am 3:00pm
Y2 8.45am 2:50pm
Y3 8.55am 3:00pm
Y4 8.45am 2.50pm
Y5 8.55am 3:00pm
Y6 8.45am 2.50pm
Gates for each year group will open 5 minutes before and will close 5 minutes after. Please make every effort to ensure your child arrives on time. Children arriving late via the office must be accompanied by an adult and adults must remain with them queueing in the car park until it is safe for them to enter school. We have to walk late arrivals to class one at a time so there may be a delay in admitting late children.
Breakfast club will re-commence at 8am on Tuesday 3rd November to limited numbers. Parents will have received an email confirming they have a place. If you have not received an email and believe you requested a place please contact the main office on 01302 853289 or via email to email@example.com
We have had lots of requests from parents surrounding birthdays and if it is possible to send in cake/sweets for the class. Unfortunately we cannot allow the sharing of cake/sweets in class so although it’s a lovely thought currently we will have to remain where no items are to be brought in from home other than PE kits and personal packed lunches.
Christmas will soon be upon us and this brings a whole new world of challenges for us. We will still be celebrating Christmas in school but we will have to be safe and still adhere to guidance. We will be fixing a date in school for Christmas Card exchanges. All cards need to be brought into school on Friday 11th December 2020 – we will then “quarantine” these in school over the weekend and hand them out for taking home on Monday 14th December 2020. It will not be possible to do Christmas Cards on any other day. On request, we will issue children with a list of first names only of children in their class and a list of staff names. If you wish to receive a list please email firstname.lastname@example.org
